Carolyn Gale Crossno, 87 of Nashville, TN passed away on May 12, 2023. A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Crossno will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Carolyn was born in Savannah, Tennessee on July 2, 1935, to William Halbert Deberry and Josie Mae Lackey. She graduated from Hardin County High School, Savannah, TN in 1953 and attended Tupelo Bible College in Tupelo, MS. Carolyn married the love of her life on November 18, 1956 to Emery Garlon Crossno.
Carolyn was an active member of First Church Pentecostal in Nashville, TN for 64 years where she served teaching, mentoring, and taking an active role in the Family Life Ministries with her husband. She enjoyed many hobbies including, cooking, reading, bible study, tea time, and spending quality time with family.
Mrs. Crossno is preceded in death by her husband, Emery Garlon Crossno, parents, William Halbert Deberry and Josie Mae Lackey, and brother, Don Deberry.
She is survived by her son, Tim Crossno, (Joy Crossno), daughter, Kim Graves (Robbie Graves), grandchildren, Cheryl Crossno Thornhill (Ross Thornhill), Ethan Crossno, (Leah Crossno), Samuel Graves, Rachel Graves and great grandchildren, Owen Thornhill, Evan Thornhill, and Ellie Crossno.
The family will receive friends at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. There will be a public committal service at 2:30 PM at Harpeth Hill Memory Gardens in Nashville, TN.
