CATALINA ZUNIGA MUÑOZ

Born: November 25, 1933 Ilama Santa Barbara, HONDURAS

Died: January 26, 2025 Nashville Tennessee, United States

She was born into a family of 10 siblings, made up of 6 men and 4 women, all dedicated to farm and household work together with his parents: JUAN ANTONIO ZÚÑIGA (QDDG) and CIRIACA MUÑOZ (QDDG).

Her life was dedicated to family service, in many stages of her life she lived with the families of some of her brothers, sisters, nieces and son so she will always be remembered with great affection for having been a person willing to do daily tasks, without ever complaining, always grateful for everything and at the same time transmitting peace, tranquility, a lot of calm and patience of which he was an example for many subsequent generations who today honor that legacy.

She was a humble and prudent person in behavior, very measured when speaking and expressing herself about others, she always avoided making criticisms or comments out of place in any situation, very faithful to her family customs and religious habits, she always maintained sanity and faith in God in difficult situations, she always shared the little and how much she could have of material possessions with everyone who needed it without any conditions.

It leaves us with many reflections and teachings of how simple it can be to live a full life full of grace and satisfaction from the hand of God in the service of others. Thank you for everything, dear Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, your example will last in those of us who were fortunate enough to be part of your life throughout 91 years of life.

Rest in Peace
