In loving memory of Cecil Leo Cox, born on October 14, 1942, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, and departed from this world on May 1, 2024.

Cecil was a man of many talents and passions. He found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as hunting, fishing, woodworking, knife making, farming, and ranching. His hands were skilled in the art of welding, working with steel, metal, and crafting woodwork designs.

Cecil is preceded in death by his father, Chester Leo Cox and mother, Ruby Smith Cox. Also preceding him in death is his son, Curtis Lynn Cox and brother-in-law, Walter Darley.

Those who will continue to honor Cecil's life include his loving wife of 62 years, Anna Mays Cox; devoted daughters, Sabra Cox Fair (James Fair) and Shawna Cox Laporte (Jeffrey Laporte); sisters Betty James (Norman James), Wilene Darley, and Della Hudgins (Robert Hudgins); grandchildren Kevin Mixon, Keith Mixon, Kristie Mixon Lester, Cori Cox, Meghan Cox, Lauren Tucker, Creed Cox, Randon Edge, Mikel Edge; great-grandchildren Augustus Mixon, Luna Mixon, Kristian Mixon, Kierstyn Mixon, Tatum Cox, Kloe Cox, Kypten Hanson, Kenna Hanson, Ainsly Edge, Lily Edge, Jessalynn Herrington, Alexandria Moreno, and Declan Harlan; as well as nephews and nieces, Bruce Adams, Barbara Little, Randy Darley, and Dana Mayer.
