Charlene Goodwin Zoet, age 80 of Fairview, TN, surrounded by her loving family, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 26, 2013.
Mrs. Zoet was born in Humboldt, TN on October 5, 1933 to the late Harris & Gertrude Goodwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Harris Goodwin Jr.
Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years Russell Zoet, sisters; Billie Spencer, Patsy Mangrum, Brenda Hardin & Jenelle Pinkerton, brother; Bobby Goodwin, aunt; Evelyn Rogers, step children; Beverly Strack, Belinda King, Paula Brown & Gary Zoet, Donna and Mike Rapp and their three children, god-daughter; Caitlin (Matthew) Henson and their three children, numerous nieces and nephews & many dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of Charlene's life will be conducted on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Fairview Church of Christ, 2001 Fairview Blvd, Fairview TN 37062, with a visitation one hour prior to service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
