Charles Edward Anderson III passed away peacefully in his home on April 1, 2015 with his wife of 28 years, Patricia Anderson by his side.
He was 79. Charlie is survived by his three children Debbie Taylor (Gary), Charles Anderson (Tammy), and Karen Crawford (Brent), two sisters Pat Fultz and Linda Curnutte and three grandkids, Ashli, Robert, and Sara.
The son of Charles and Anita Anderson, he was born in Ashland Kentucky in October of 1935. A graduate of Ashland High School in 1953 and Centre College in Danville Kentucky in 1957, Charlie spent 42 years in Ashland Kentucky where he was involved in the Jaycees, Lions Club, Elks Lodge 350, and worked at Third and Second National Banks and Putnam Insurance.
He moved to Nashville Tennessee in 1977 where he worked for HCA Parthenon Insurance Company. Charlie had a lifelong passion for amateur sports, family and friends around the dinner table sharing good memories, and the serene sound of the waves hitting the beach during Pat and Charlie's frequent travels to Destin Florida.
He lived his days with us giving more than he would accept, loving all by action and not words, and being true to his purpose. As he crosses the river, may God open his arms and welcome him into the Kingdom of Heaven where he will be only a prayer away.
