Charles D. Anderson Jr., age 84, passed away on April 27, 2016. An adoring husband, father, and grandfather, Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia Anderson, brother, John Anderson, sons, Lynch and Frank Bennett, their wives Mary Kate and Amelia Bennett, and five grandchildren, Lynch, Katherine Marie, Alison, Frank, and Charlie Bennett. Born to Charles D. Anderson and Agnes Glass Anderson in Columbia, TN, on October 18, 1931, Charles grew up working in his father's hardware store and eventually attended Western Kentucky University for a degree in business. Charles enlisted in the army after graduating whereupon he joined the Army Security Agency. A natural teacher, Charles taught cryptanalysis. Thereafter he started at Merrill Lynch in 1957 where he worked as a respected stock broker for 48 years. Charles married Patricia in 1973, and was a loving, stalwart husband, father, and eventually, grandfather, every day of his life. In retirement, Charles could be found every Tuesday meeting his friends at The Picnic, running errands at Publix, and playing cards with friends. He is fondly remembered by his family as a loving and giving patriarch. He passed on his love of golf, chess, cards, and the stock market, and his children carry on that memory.

A visitation will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church from 12:30 - 2:00pm on Saturday, April 30, and will be immediately followed by a Memorial Mass at the same location.
