Charles Michael Brown "Charlie", Sr.- Age 65, February 10, 2017. Preceded in death by his son, Charles Michael Brown, Jr.; parents, Mark and Mary Brown; brother, Roger Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda Brown; son, Shannon Brown (Amy); grandchildren, Hayley Overmyer (Michael), Zachary Brown, Kendall Brown, Elijah Grizzard-Brown and Brooks Brown.

Charlie was a great husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He was always joking and making people laugh. He served in the United States Army. He loved working with wood and there wasn't much he couldn't do with his hands. He loved cars, motorcycles, trucks, 4 wheelers and anything with wheels. Charlie loved the Lord and was saved and baptized at age 19 and became a Deacon at Park Avenue Baptist Church under Bro. Bob Mowery.

Visitation will be, 1-7 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 and Monday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 13 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
