Charles Edward Derryberry, III, passed away on January 4, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Born on October 17, 1966, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Charlie dedicated a significant part of his career to the scrap metal industry. His passions extended beyond his professional life; he had a love for collecting old things especially old records. Charlie found joy in karaoke singing, where he could share his love of tunes with friends and family.
He is survived by his sister, Kim Fowler; his father, Charles Edward Derryberry, Jr.; his mother, Lila Cowell; and his nieces, Crystal Willey and Miranda Willey. He also leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives he touched with his caring spirit.
He is preceded in death by his dear niece, Kimbra Danielle Willis.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11:30am ~ 1:30pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
Charlie will be deeply missed, but the legacy of his kindness and joy for life will continue to resonate within the hearts of his family and friends. As we remember Charlie, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with enthusiasm, compassion, and countless cherished memories.
