Charles Story

Charles Lawrence Story, 81, of Nashville, TN passed away on May 27, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's. His family and close friends were by his side. Charles was born in Montgomery, AL on April 26th, 1943.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lucy Story, his brothers, Luther and James Story, his first wife, Ann, and his second wife, Donna. He is survived by stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. 

The service for Mr. Story will be held on June 8th, 2024, at Bellevue Church of Christ. The visitation will be from 10:30 - 11:00, followed by a memorial service at 11:00. The burial will be at a later date in Montgomery, AL. 

Charles grew up in Montgomery, AL. He advanced his education at Faulkner University as well as David Lipscomb University. He moved to Nashville where he worked as a chemist and lab manager for the State of Tennessee for most of his career. He was a faithful member of the

Bellevue Church of Christ. Charles enjoyed sharing the gospel with others and showed Christ’s love through acts of service. 

Charles, we love you and will miss you greatly! Thank you for loving us as your own and being an amazing “Grandpa Charles.”
