Charles Raymond Wooten, Jr., "Chuck," age 65 of Franklin, TN, May 31 2018 at 11:56pm.

He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 1, 1953. He married Carole Hughes on November 17, 1984 in Nashville, TN.

Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Wooten.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Wooten; children, Charles R. Wooten, III, "Chip" (Kati McCarver Wooten), Lauren Grace Stevenson (Ross), and William Hughes Wooten; grandchildren, Annie Olivia Wooten, Emma Louise Wooten, Charles Bentley Wooten, and Henry James Stevenson; father Charles Raymond Wooten, Sr. (Joan); siblings, Janet Wooten Sanfratello (Johnnie Sanfratello, Jr.), Mary Wooten Riley, and Terry Wooten Smith (Donnie Smith).

A graduate of Bolton High School, Chuck was State Secretary of Future Farmers of America. He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. He worked at Federal Land Bank for three years, before working for Frank. E. Neal & Company, where he proudly worked for 34 years.

He enjoyed Bible Study Fellowship, and was the 5th and 6th grade Sunday School teacher at Christ Presbyterian Church for 20 years. Chuck was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, actively involved in the Rotary Club of Brentwood (served as President in 1995), and an avid Volunteer fan.

Visitation will take place from 12:30 to 2:30pm on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Christ Presbyterian Church, located at 2323 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville TN. A celebration of life service will take place at 2:30pm at CPC. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Rotary Club of Brentwood.
