Preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy James; son, William "Mack" Hutchison; grandchildren, Jesse Snyder, Candy Lanway and Steve Hutchison.

She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Cook and Carolyn Gray; step-children, Mike James (Ruth) and Rose Kennedy (John); grandchildren, Cookie Wallace, Earl Snyder (Karen), Bill Hutchison (Leigh), Pat Durr (Mark), Billy Cook (Patty), Mark Cook (Stephani) and Nathaniel McDonald; 14 great-grandchildren; 26 great, great-grandchildren; two great, great, great-grandchildren; longtime best friend, Flossie Sanders.

Pallbearers will be Earl Snyder, Billy Cook, Mark Cook, Jesse Snyder, Jr., Bill Lanway and Mike James.

She worked at the Farmers Market Café for 31 years and continued to work until she was 93.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 and 10-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Thomas Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery.
