Clara Williams

Mrs. Clara Mai (Hutchison) Williams age 88, of Lebanon, TN. passed away at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. on December 24, 2021, with her loving family by her side.

Clara was born in Nashville, TN. on July 1, 1933, to the late Silas Hooper Hutchison and Annie Elizabeth O’Brien Hutchison. Clara enjoyed her sports such as following the Braves and Vanderbilt basketball. She also liked to garden, fishing, the ocean and cooking but her greatest love was for her family. Clara was the love of her husband Ellis’s life.

Survivors include her husband; Ellis Henry Williams, daughters; Patsy Tyler, Dorothy Smith and Paula Hudson, son; Henry Millis Gentry, Jr., brother; Edwin Hutchison, sisters; Lorene Dorton and Jane Johnson, grandchildren; Misty Woodward, Lisa Spencer, Anthony Smith, Austin Smith, Ryan Hudson, Ross Hudson, Dakota Gentry and Erica Chantell Leon; also twenty-four great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm and also on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from Noon until service time at 1:00 pm with burial to follow. All services to be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
