LONG, Clarence Reed-age 64, passed away August 2, 2012 in the arms of his loving wife. He was born December 11, 1947 to Eldon and Maxine Long. He served as a police officer and later as an electrician. He was a man of faith and believed in the golden rule. "Do unto others as you would have done to you" and lived by those words. He loved cars, Nascar and especially his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sue Davis Long; son, Chris Long Christy; grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, and Jessica; sisters, Regina Bransford Bobby, Rhonda Snyder; brothers, Roger Long Aulene, and Randy Long Karen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August, 4 2012 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Bobby Bransford officiating.
