LAMB, Clendon Vance, Age 81, of Nashville, TN passed away on January 6th. Mr. Lamb was born on March 30, 1931 in Kenuir, Kentucky, and was raised in Heiskell, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miller and Janie Lamb; sisters, Vera Lamb and Faye Cooper Anderson; and brother, Byon Lamb. He entered active duty in the Air Force in 1948 and retired as a Major in 1972. His civilian work was with Holiday Inns as a general manager in several states, and later as project manager for the Knoxville Community Development Corporation. Clendon is survived by his wife, Margaret Lamb; sister, Vesta Norman; daughter, Clarissa Pierce; son-in-law, Douglas Pierce; and two grandchildren, Valerie Pierce and Scott Pierce.
