Age 88, of Pegram, passed away April 13, 2017.
Mr. Smith was a strong, kind, friendly, jolly & dedicated man who set a great example for those that knew him. He lived his life by the "Golden Rule" do unto others as you would have them do unto you. He enjoyed camping; going on vacation to the beach or mountains, eating hot peppers and onions and most of all spending time with his family. In his younger years he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and in his later year, riding his John Deere. He was a great man that will be deeply missed but cherished forever.
Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Martha Smith; son, Ronald Smith. Survived by his adoring children, Donna Cowart (Dale) & Steve Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy Gaddes, Brandy Self (Mark), Kristi Rhodes (Roger), Kacie Smith, Brian Smith & Melanie Perez-Lugones (Ignacio); 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Ragan; several nieces, nephews & extended family members.
