David Lawrence Lilly II, 66, of Daniels, WV, loving husband and father, met his Father in Heaven on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 10:55 pm in Vanderbilt's Palliative

Care Unit. He is survived by his wife, Lidia, children, Angela (Heath) Seamon, Katrina and Adam Lilly, grandchildren, Abigail and Campbell Seamon, stepfather Les Moore, sister Dawna Lilly, brother Dwayne Lilly and nieces Amy Eller (Mallie McCloud), Andrea (Nick) Miller, and Kristin (Josh) Harvey.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Betty Moore and father, David Lilly. David retired as a Master Sergeant after twenty years of service in the United States Air Force. His deep and quiet faith shined best through his love for his family. He was an avid bass fisherman, and will be lovingly remembered for his humor and "Lillyisms". He fought valiantly since his double lung transplant four years ago, Memorial Day weekend. God granted his wish to see Adam graduate from 8th grade.

A celebration of life will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home at 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221 on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will

begin one hour prior. All are welcome to come to the Lilly home following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Donate for Life or to the IPF foundation.
