David Moore, age 72 of Fairview, went to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, June 5, 2019. He was born June 7, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late Ross and Mary (Donalley) Moore.

David treasured his motor coach and loved cars. He worked as an automobile mechanic, helping anyone repair their vehicle. David was kind and caring and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He is remembered by his family as the "best man on earth" and everyone called him "papa" or "pops". He will be greatly missed for his big heart and love of helping people.

David is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shari Leiner Moore; son, Aaron Martin (Susan); son, Steve Martin (Lauren); son, Chris Martin (Tiffany); 8 grandchildren, Lindsey, Tristen, Zoe, Hadley, Wyatt, Jax, Marlowe and Gage; sister, Kathy Smith; and 2 nieces.

Visitation will be held from 2 - 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbeares serving will be Aaron Martin, Steve Martin, Chris Martin, Pete Pellicano, Jason Wright, Mark Leiner, Craig Schroder and Mark Hellervik. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. at the Pavillion of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Brother Bill Hall officiating.
