David Sanders

Mr. David Kenneth Sanders age 85, of Nashville, TN. Passed away on November 30, 2022 at his home in Nashville, TN.

David was born in Nashville, TN on August 2, 1937.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Patricia Ann Sanders, sons James A. Sanders and David Keith Sanders.

David worked for the Metro Water Service for more than 20 years, as well as served during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army, Artillery. Married for almost 54 years to Patricia Ann Gillespie on September 15, 1961, she was the love of his life until her passing on August 20, 2015.  Although David was a paraplegic, it did not keep him from his many activities and hobbies such as hunting and wood working, as well as fishing with family and friends.  Although we meet good people daily in our lives, David was one of the few great people many were honored to have known and spent time with.  He was loved by his many friends, family, and neighbors and will be truly missed.

Survivors include his brother Wayne as well as other Nieces, Nephews, grandchildren and close friends and neighbors.

Visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 10:30am to 11:00am with public visitation to continue from 11:00am until service time at 1:00pm.  All services to be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221
