David Bennett Summarell, born June 9th, 1947 in Milan, TN, passed away December 10th, 2016 at the age of 69.

David is preceded in death by his parents Harvey Marion Summarell and Mildred Bennett Summarell and his son Joshua Matthew. He is survived by his wife Mona Summarell; children John David (Sherri), Sara Elizabeth (Robert), and Mark Aaron (Bly); grandson Jack Bennett; brothers Larry (Judy) and Millard (Kim); and many nieces and nephews.

David proudly served four years as a United States Marine. He also worked 35 years as a pharmacist. He dedicated his work to caring for his customers and coworkers. A proud father of four, David was always his children's biggest fan and supporter. David was also a faithful follower of Christ and always found peace in God's grace. Though he may not be here on earth, he is always with us in spirit. He is so loved.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13th from 10am - 2pm and then 4pm - 8pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home (9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221).
