Deanna Phipps was born on September 29, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky.
She attended Iroquois High School and spent her time dancing on the drill team and attending rock and roll concerts, her love of music being infectious to all of her friends. Her passion for music would continue throughout her life.
She graduated high school and spent the following years attending beauty school where she trained to be a cosmetologist and worked full time as a waitress as well. For a short time, she worked as a cosmetologist at Dillard's. She lived a life of beauty, comedy, sassiness, and generosity and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Survived by her children, Savanna Lawing, Sydney Phipps; mother, Kitty Kenney; brother, Eric Routh (Josephine); niece, Mary Josephine Routh; Several extended family members.
A Memorial Gathering will be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Saturday at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221 harpethhills.com, 615-646-9292
