Delores Taylor

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 31, 1935

Departed on February 28, 2015 and resided in Shelbyville, Tennessee

On the evening of February 28th 2015 "Joanne" Taylor passed away from her battle with cancer. Throughout her life Joanne gave joy to others. She lit up the world with her beautiful blue eyes and dazzled with her smile. She will be missed greatly and while there is sorrow for our great loss we also celebrate her joining our Father in Heaven. She was married to Joe Taylor for 59 years and is also survived by her sister, brother, 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Joanne was born in 1935. She lived in Japan while her husband served as active military. In 1963 she appeared in Martha White sponsored radio and TV advertisements.

Her survivors include;
Brother: Buddy (Genie) Hixon
Sister: Sharon Hixon
Children: Lisa (Woody) Easterling and Brent Taylor
Grandchildren: Selena (Jesse) Foutch and Joseph (Allie) Ellis
Great grandchildren: Anna Grace Foutch, Olivia Foutch and Claire Foutch
A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday March 11th at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens from 11:00- 2:00pm.
