Mr. Donald Mackay age 89 of Madison, Tennessee passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee on May 29, 2021 with his family by his side.
Don was born on August 14, 1931 in Rochester, New York. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Mackay. He served our country and retired from the United States Army and also retired as a Tennessee State Trooper. He loved to play cards, pool, an avid book reader, train trade shows and was a member of Rakkasan Association.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria C Mackay, daughters, Jacqueline Mackay, Kelly (Matthew) Richter, sons, Donald (Kathy) Mackay, Jr., Anthony Mackay and Nicholas Mackay, step-sons, Kenneth “Roger” (Lucrecia) Freemon, Keith “Randy” (Donna) Freemon and Kevin “Ray” Freemon, grandchildren, Heather Helton, Griffin Mackay, Nicholas Richter, Christen Bissinger, Krystal Reasonover, Kimberly Freemon, Kacey Freemon, Kevin Freemon, and Kyle Freemon, and several great grandchildren.
