Donald Lewis Proctor of Nashville, Tennessee died at Alive Hospice in Nashville on December 23, 2015; he was 79 years old.
Mr. Proctor received national recognition for his work with Habitat for Humanity, and was a member of Crevewood United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. He spent many volunteer hours serving "The Pioneers" for South Central Bell.
Mr. Proctor, predeceased by his parents Omer and Louise Baldwin Proctor, and his wife of almost 60 years, Mrs. Joyce Etheredge Proctor, is survived by nieces Celeste Taylor (Bob), Dianne Sensing-Petty (Curtis), and Judy Weaver (Vernon); nephews Garry Sensing (Margie) and John Joseph Tawney (Jane); aunt Essie Mae Welker; uncle Billy Joe Procter; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 10:00 a.m. ~ 2:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:30 p.m..
