BLEDSOE, Donna, 55, of Fairview, Tenn. passed away Jan. 10, 2013. Born to Bill and Brenda Nutt on Oct. 18, 1957 Donna was born and raised in Fairview. After attending college at Belmont University where she earned accolades as a stand-out basketball player, Donna returned to Fairview where she married and settled with her high school sweetheart and husband of 32 years, Ricky. A devoted wife and loving mother, she raised two kids – Kori, 26 and Drew, 22 – and became a mother figure to countless children in the community as a teacher and long-time coach at Fairview Middle and Fairview High School. When she wasn't on the sideline, Donna was helping others plant their roots in the community as a 20-year Real Estate Agent. Admired for her work ethic and ability to inspire others to reach their own goals, Donna put her family first, sharing nights at the pond, days at the beach and memories and photos too many to count. She is survived by her husband and children; parents, Bill and Brenda Nutt; brother, John Nutt; sister, Jonna Runyon; great-grandmother, Audra Barber and several nieces and nephews, and her best buddy L.J. A life celebration service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any of the athletic programs at Fairview Middle or Fairview High School.
