Doreen Patricia Durden

Doreen Patricia Durden (1924-2024) 

 Doreen Patricia Durden, age 99 of Bellevue, Tennessee, passed away April 8, 2024. She was a gentle but witty woman who loved to spend her time in high heels dancing, going on long beach walks, and loving on animals. She spent her earlier years as a mother and grandmother, dedicating her time to those she loved so dearly.  

Doreen was born in Armadag, India on August 30, 1924, to Edith and William Bratby, whom she is preceded in death by. Additionally preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Anthony Durden; siblings- Lynne Bratby, Joy Scott, June Cleave, William Bratby, Tony Bratby, and Pat Bratby. Doreen was survived by children- Loraine (Paul) Mackender, Lance (Susan) Durden, and Janine (Tony) Fortner; grandchildren- Katie (Lee) Veach, Julie Kennedy, and Elizabeth Mackender; great-grandchildren- Annabelle Goodman, Glen Barnett, and Ian Adcox.  

Private services will be held for the family’s viewing at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Crematory Services.
