Faye Gibbs

Dorothy Faye Gibbs, passed away on January 4, 2024. She was born on November 19, 1939 in Nashville, TN. to her parents Clifton and Dorothy Mangrum. Faye was strong-willed and a social butterfly who touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years Norman L Gibbs; son John L. Gibbs; daughter Julie L. Gibbs and sister Betty Martin

Faye is survived by her grandchildren, Nathan L. (Sarah) Gibbs, Kelly L. (Matthew) Czerepak; great grandchildren, Allison Gibbs, Nicole Czerepak, Luke Czerepak; brother, Bill (Sandra) Mangrum, numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Faye cherished her time spent with friends and family. She had an innate ability to connect with others and could make new friends wherever she went. Her love for traveling allowed her to explore new places while creating beautiful memories with loved ones. Faye's presence brought joy to those around her.

One of her greatest passions was her love for flowers and tending to her garden. Faye also treasured collecting antiques, as each item held its own unique story. Her eye for beautiful things translated into an enjoyment of shopping and finding hidden treasures wherever she went.

However, above all else, Faye cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 11:30am until 1:30pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm and the burial to follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221.

Faye Gibbs departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Let us celebrate her life and cherish the memories she has left behind as we bid farewell to a remarkable individual.

The family welcomes flowers as they were one of Faye’s favorite things to look at.
