Dorothy Reasonover

Dorothy Thomas Reasonover, "Dot" passed away at NHC Franklin on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 at age 88.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years and five months, Newsom Reasonover; daughters, Sherry Chambers (Larry), Renee Cashion (Kyle) and Melanie Wick (Patrick); much loved grandchildren, Laura Chambers, Clay Chambers, Jake Cashion and Austin Wick (She wished she had more); adored great-grandson, Lucas Chambers.

She was a cheerleader at Antioch High School where she graduated in 1949. Later, she also attended David Lipscomb University. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She retired from AGAPE Nashville after 25 years where she was a longtime bookkeeper and unofficial photographer of children and their new adoptive families. Seeing the smiles on their faces was her joy. She loved traveling, a good story and laughing loudly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AGAPE.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
