Dorothy Rogers

Our dear mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Rogers suddenly passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 95. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She was also a grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father Leo Raymond Joseph Pothier and mother Marie Ann Trlida Pothier; daughters, Nancy Singleton and Dawn DeMotte; and sons, Mark Rogers and Jeff Rogers. 

 Dorothy is survived by her son, Allen (Janie) DiMauro; daughters, Susan Sokol and Linda (David) Jones to include eighteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; with many other family and friends. 

 Dorothy was born in Hartford, Connecticut on October 2, 1928. She spent her career as a LPN critical care nurse. She started at St. Thomas West in 1975 - 1994. In that time, she also worked at Baptist Hospital. She also worked in the cafeteria of Harpeth High School. She was an amazing lady and will be missed dearly. Rest in peace mom, Love you… 

 A visitation will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 9:00am until the hour of service. The funeral service will begin in the chapel at 10:00am with burial to follow.
