Dorothy Lavone Surratt, age 92, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, James O. Surratt, Sr., parents Shelby Ross Engle and Essie Mae Engle, and 6 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by children, Rebecca (Paul) Biggs, James O. (Debbie) Surratt, Jr., and David (Caroline) Surratt, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 10:30-12:30 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Hwy 100. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
