Dylan Alexander Stark of Nashville, Tennessee passed away suddenly and in his sleep on Saturday, December 14, 2024. He was born on January 16, 2018 to AJ and Lauren Stark.
Dylan’s day was filled with laughter, big smiles, and a deep love for others. He had a kindness and gentleness that was felt by all those around him. He was a big helper for Mom, especially recently with all things Christmas; he couldn’t wait to get the Christmas lights up! He loved Christmas and singing carols so much. He also loved pancakes and waffles (especially with strawberries or chocolate chips!) and always asked for his specific breakfast before going to bed the night before.
Dylan was very organized, and he loved to tidy and arrange his books and sports cards in his room; he had all his papers and office supplies laid out on the floor of his room in particular order in anticipation of Santa bringing a desk for Christmas! When he was working hard on something, Dylan would stick his little tongue out of the corner of his mouth without knowing. We always smiled when he did this!
Dylan loved to do the monkey bars (and recently was so proud that he could skip two bars!) and play soccer with his friends. He loved his friends and his big brother Landon deeply and talked about them with so much happiness. Dylan loved school at Harding so much – he was a very bright boy and had developed a love for every subject, including math, technology and reading his books. He was reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and was on book 7.
Dylan got the most compliments on his precious curls! They bounced when he ran with all the joy he had in his heart. Dylan would squeeze his mommy’s hand as a gesture of love, and his mommy would squeeze back the same number of squeezes. This is something they always did while holding hands. In remembrance of Dylan, please squeeze the hands of those you love.
Dylan was our Angel on Earth. God called his soul to be an Angel in Heaven to protect and care for us all. He’s our Christmas Angel. With all our love always, Mommy, Daddy and Landon.
