Edward "Ed" Richards

Mr. Edward “Ed” Richards age 74, of Mt. Juliet, TN. passed away on April 17, 2023, with his family by his side.

Ed was born in Nashville, TN. on February 11, 1949, to the late Edgar Matthew Richards, Sr. and Helen Virginia Gregory Richards. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Edgar Matthew, Jr., Naomi Baker and Phil Richards. Ed married his childhood friend and neighbor Janice Ann Kirk Richards and have spent fifty-five wonderful years together. He loved to be outside and relaxing in the swing, or his mancave. He worked for fifty-five years in the Trailer Repair Industry. He loved his family and two dogs Pete and Abby.

Survivors include his wife, Janice “Jann” Richards, children, Steven (Juanita) Richards, Stacey Richards (Kevin) Lyles and Melissa Richards (Jason) Gleaves, grandchildren, Aaron White, Ryan Richards, Hailey Reynolds, Heather Richards, Mason Gleaves, Rachel Richards, Ethan Lyles and Brandi Richards also four great grandchildren, siblings, Linda Wyatt, Gary Richards, Ray Richards and Sonja Cagle.

Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 10 am until service time at 1:30 pm with burial to follow. All services to be held at Harpeth Hills, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
