Funeral Mass honoring the life of Eli Nichols Erwin, 16, who went to be with our Lord on January 21, 2016 will be at 11 am on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens immediately following the Funeral Mass. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 25 at the church.
Pallbearers are: Jimmy Stewart, Justin Stewart, Will Stewart, Jimbo Britt, Eric Britt, Jack Lynch, Gray Erwin and Nicholas Erwin.
His friends and classmates will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Eli is: a blazing smile, an infectious personality, a talented athlete, an avid adventurer and a tender heart. A beautiful young man, he was fiercely devoted to his friends, his family, his brother, Miles, and his parents, Jason and Katy. Eli's radiance drew everyone in, causing the lives of so many to be filled with joy. His compassion and love of life won him so many friends and admirers. His reach into our lives knew no boundaries; he was loved by young and old alike. He was selfless and kind and caring and such fun. His love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Until we can be united with him again, he leaves behind his parents, Jason and Katy Erwin, his brother, Miles, his grandmothers, Patsy "Mammy" Lynch and Sherry "Gran" Dunkerley (Allen), his aunts and uncles, Kelly and Tim Stewart, Nick and Denise Lynch, Lori and Karl Kolb, Nicole and Ryan Erwin, his first cousins, Jimmy Stewart, Justin Stewart, Will Stewart, Jimbo Britt (Taylor), Eric Britt (Emily), Ashley Lynch Cole (Parker), Jack Lynch, Gray Erwin, Emi Erwin, Nicholas Erwin, Ethan Lynch, Nicholas Britt and Ella Britt, his friends, teachers and fellow students at Father Ryan High School, St. Henry School, and Nashville Christian Academy. He joins his grandfathers, Nick Lynch and Frank Erwin in Heaven.
