Elizabeth Gail Billions ("Gail") of Nashville, Tennessee, and formerly of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away at The Lodge at Natchez Trace on Wednesday, December 19, 2018; she was 85 years old.
Mrs. Billions cherished being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her children were her pride and joy. She devoted her life to raising them in a loving Godly home. She loved dolls and was accomplished at creating beautiful porcelain dolls. She also loved rescue dogs, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking pictures of her flowers. She could grow an African Violet like no other.
Mrs. Billions was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Billions, and daughter-in-law, Connie Billions. She is survived by her husband of 66 years; Thomas E. Billions, and by her daughters Karen Kloess (Larry) of Kingston Springs, Tennessee; Shelly Spradlin (David) of Ashland, Kentucky; and Kathy Hackworth (Daryl) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; her son Mark Billions of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and her daughter-in-law Dava Billions of Ashland, Kentucky. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Larry Kloess IV of Nashville, Tennessee; Rachel Sosa (Santiago) of Nashville, Tennessee; Ellie Blair (Rob) of Lexington, Kentucky; Mark Billions Jr. of Spring Hill, Tennessee; Lydia Alcarez (James) of Lexington, Kentucky; Jessica Edelen of Terre Haute, Indiana; Nikki Cline (Kenny) of Ashland, Kentucky; Sarah Steen (Jess) of Ashland, Kentucky; Mattie Billions of Ashland, Kentucky; Charlee Billions of Ashland, Kentucky; Ben Hackworth of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and Ryan Hackworth of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; along with 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a committal service beginning at 1:00 pm at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
