Elizabeth Sutherland, age 83, of Pegram went to be with her heavenly father August 27, 2020. She was born November 15, 1936 in Williamson County to the late Charles Luther and Fannie Eudora Anglin. Elizabeth is also preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Cecil William McCord; son, Ronnie William McCord; sisters, Ellise Lowrey and Judy Newman; and brothers, Alton, Dillon and Curtis Anglin.
Elizabeth loved her Savior Jesus Christ will all her heart. She faithfully attended the church she dearly loved, Richland Freewill Baptist Church. Elizabeth loved her children and grandchildren and is remembered as enjoying family gatherings in her backyard. Gardening and cooking were some of her favorite past times.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Kirkman Sutherland; daughter, Cynthia Hellard (Pat Collins); granddaughter, Kerri Williams; grandchildren, Raven Nelms, Steve Allen Williams III, and Ronnie James Williams; sisters, June Hunter, Janice Martin and Sharon Potts; and brother-in-law, Wendell Newman.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 31st from 11:30 am - 12:30 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in The Garden of Last Supper of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
