Mrs. Elizabeth R. Wood of Nashville, Tennessee died at her residence on Tuesday, March 20, 2018; she was 99 years old.
Mrs. Wood, the oldest of six, is predeceased by her parents Glenn and Ruth Green Gordon; brother, Glenn Gordon (Lorrie); sister, Mary Margaret Woods; brother, Don Gordon; and twins Jan Rutan (John) and Jean Boresi.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her son, Gregory Wood; daughter, Sheran Hartwell of Washington, D.C.; good friend, Martha Ann Gregory; first cousins Bob and Judy Stahl of Illinois; brother-in-law, Arthur Boresi; sister-in-law, Rosemary Gordon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wood grew up on a farm just east of Urbana, Illinois and was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date.
