Ellis Henry Williams

Ellis Henry Williams age 84, of Lebanon TN, passed away at AHC in Mount Juliet, TN on November 27, 2022 with his loving family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Clara Mai Williams, father L. Vern Williams and mother Ola Mae Williams.

Ellis was born in Crenshaw, Mississippi on January 13, 1938. Ellis started his career at the H.D.Lee Co. in Nashville, TN in 1969 pulling orders and worked his way up to supervisor. In 1985 Ellis was offered a Distribution Manager job for the Lee Co. in Holly Pong, Alabama where he retired in 2001. Ellis enjoyed his sports such as baseball and basketball. He liked fishing, the ocean, snoopy the comic-strip character and a big bowl of ice cream, but his greatest love was his family.

Survivors include daughters, Patsy Tyler, Dorothy Smith and Paula Hudson, son Henry Mills Gentry, Jr. grandchildren; Misty Woodward, Lisa Spencer, Anthony Smith, Austin Smith, Ryan Hudson, Ross Hudson, Dakota Gentry, and Erica Chantell Leon; also, twenty-four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Friday, December 2, 2022, from 1:30pm until 2:30pm with a Celebration of Life at 2:30pm and burial to follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN.
