Elnora Simmons Page, 97 passed away on September 30, 2015. She was born on August 18, 1918 in Nashville, TN.
Preceded in death by her husband, JG Page, Jr.; parents, Austin and Gladys Simmons; brother, Donald and sister, Dorothy Simmons.
Survived by her children, Patsy Curry and her husband, Peter, Jay Page and his wife, Becky; grandchildren, Page Karnbuhl and her husband Kipp; Harwood Curry and his husband Zac Mayo, Ginny Page and Tom Stephens; great-grandchildren, Curry and Turner Karnbuhl; sister, Marjorie Blazer and her husband Sonny.
She was an active member of The Fannie Battle Day Home where she was chairman of the horse show fundraising event. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and a member of the Ladies Hermitage Association. Elnora also enjoyed traveling the world with her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at 10 Lexington Green, Nashville, TN 37215. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203 or American Cancer Society, 1315 8th Ave. South Nashville, TN 37203.
