Elsie Carpenter

Mrs. Elsie Mae Carpenter age 88, of Nashville, TN. passed away at Lakeshore The Meadows on June 2, 2023.

Elsie was born in Hohenwald, TN. on December 23, 1934, to the late Ollie Staggs and Lela McDonald Staggs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Randy Van Carpenter. She enjoyed Elvis music and staying up late and watching mysteries.

Survivors include her children, Ellen (Larry) Tidwell, Darlene (Larry) Matlock, Teresa (Virgil) McNutt, Rick (Diane) Carpenter and Steve Carpenter, fifteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, siblings, George Staggs and Lil Sado.

Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 11:00 am until service time at 1:30 with burial to follow. All services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
