EMILY MAXINE ANDERSON SPAULDING - Age 91, Born September 16, 1927, passed away surrounded by family on January 27, 2019. She was retired from many years with the State of Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. She spent many happy hours with the Treasure Hunters Club, and with her Vintage Market antique mall friends. She was a member of the Dixie Doll-ers doll club, and a special friend to the members of the Grand Ole Doll Club.
She is survived by her daughters Wanda Spaulding Burks (Jim); and Barbara Spaulding Lamb (Bob); and son-in-law James McWright (Melissa), brother Paul Anderson (Joyce), and grandchildren: William C. Lamb (Ruth), Brenda Lamb Murray (Chris), James Everett McWright, Jon McWright, Kelly McWright, Jennifer Burks Reddick (Jason), Kimberly Burks Lundquist (Ben), and Brandon Burks (Hannah). Her 15 great grandchildren are: William Lamb, Madeleine Lamb, Drew Lamb, Josh Lamb, Robert Murray, Emily Murray, Adam McWright, Madeline McWright, Olivia McWright, Jaylynn Reddick, Abby Reddick, Emma Reddick, Koa Lundquist, Remi Lundquist, and Juniper Burks. She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews who she fiercely loved as if they were her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Everette Earl Spaulding, her daughter Sharon Mai Spaulding McWright, her parents, Jesse L. and Clara Mai Anderson; siblings Thelma Anderson, Elmer Anderson, Samuel Edgar Anderson, Frances Anderson, Catherine Sue Anderson French, Grover C. Anderson, Jesse L Anderson, Jr., and William T. Anderson.
The Celebration of Life service will be on Friday February 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Aaron Johnson officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 at the Greenbrier Cemetery in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be her beloved nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cheatham County Animal Shelter, 2797 Sams Creek Rd., Pegram, TN 37143 or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, Tennessee 37221.
