UMSTEAD, Era Jean, age 82 of Kingston Springs, TN surrounded by her loving family went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 25, 2013. Mrs. Umstead was born June 14, 1931 in Collinwood, TN to the late Shelby and Arline Hensley. She was a long time member of West View Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Bill Hensley, Teddy Hensley, Charles Hensley, Ralph Hensley, Faye Arnett and Eliz Dowdy. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years; Wayne Umstead, Children; Gary (Marie) Berry, Loyd (Pat) Umstead, Gerald (Dale) Umstead, Vickie (Sedric) Alsup and Pam Wilson, brothers; Johnny Hensley and Frank Hensley, 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4 - 8 PM and Monday from 10 - 11 AM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration on Mrs. Umstead's life will be conducted on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11AM with Pastor Mark Shelton officiating.
