Ernest Lawrence Owen II, age 80 of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
Ernest was born in Nashville, TN on June 08, 1934.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Owen and his parents.

Survivors include his only son, Lyle Brent Owen; nephews, David (Wanda) Griffith of White House, Tennessee, & Keith (Lyurinda) Griffith of Anchorage, Alaska and many, many friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Ernest's life will be conducted on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11:00 am with an hour visitation prior to service.
