Ethel Grace

Departed on March 13, 2016 and resided in Nashville, TN

Passed away March 13, 2016 at the age of 90 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Ethel C. O'Connor; brothers, Jack and Tim O'Connor; sisters, Irene Davis and Nancy Harrington.

Survived by her husband John J. "Johnno" Grace, son John J. (Patty) Grace III, daughter Katie (John) James, grandchildren Sam James, Austin Grace, Sarah James, Kevin Grace, sister Gay Grace, a multitude of nieces and nephews, the camping crowd, M.E., and many dear friends.

EC was born in Chicago, IL November 11, 1925, moved to Phoenix, AZ where she met her true love, John Grace. They married June 11, 1955 and eventually settled in San Clemente, CA where they lived for over 50 years. EC and John were active in Marriage Encounter, Family Weekend Experience, Engaged Couples, Retrouvaille, Bereavement Fellowship. They were Eucharistic Ministers at St Edwards Catholic Church in Dana Point, CA, and Chaplin's at Mission Hospital in Laguna Niguel, CA. They loved to travel; England, Ireland, all over the US, but especially to Mexico.

Visitation Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10AM with a Funeral Mass at 11AM all in the chapel of St. Henry Catholic Church (6401 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN) and a Reception immediately following the Mass.

Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Chicago, IL at a later date.
