Eva Karen Woods Boyle, beloved widow of Patrick C Boyle, Jr., passed away on 9/13/2016 at the age of 95. Eva was born in Virginia, Minnesota to Martha and Carl S Woods on May 30, 1921. She married her high school sweetheart Patrick Boyle on Oct 2, 1943 in Virginia, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband who died on Oct 13, 2004, her dearest and only Sister Gudney Tock of Champaign, IL, daughter-in-law Charlotte Koons Boyle, and her grandson, Mikey. Eva is survived by her five children and their spouses: Michael K and Pat Boyle of Las Vegas, NV, Suzanne Boyle of Vermont, David and Vicki Boyle of Austin TX and Bologna, Italy, Jim and Rosemary Boyle of Nashville, TN and John and Beverly Boyle of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

During her life, Eva and Patrick's career moved them throughout the U.S., residing in Port Arthur and Dallas, TX, Akron, OH, King of Prussia, PA, Charleston, West VA., and lastly for the past 50 years in Hendersonville and Nashville, TN. A life-long love of reading was nourished as she spent a number of years working as a Librarian at the Hendersonville, TN library.

She loved to follow her children's athletic activities as they grew and follow her favorite Vanderbilt Commodores basketball and football teams in her later years. Also, she loved her weekly spaghetti dinners with her two sons and their wives while living in Nashville. She dearly enjoyed her weekly long-distance phone calls with her sister Gudney and her long time friend of almost 70 years, Lois Anne Eaton of Barberton, OH.

She lived a long, loving and full life and will be missed dearly by her family.
