Geneva Lynch
It is with great sadness that the family of Geneva Lynch announces her passing on Monday, July 22, 2019, at the age of 79 years.
A native of Fairview, TN, Geneva enjoyed a long career of 47 years at Bowling Supply Company. An avid bowler, she participated in WBA Tournaments for over 40 consecutive years, and was the first woman in Nashville to bowl a perfect 300 game. Amid her active lifestyle, Geneva always found time for the things she truly enjoyed; spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, baking, playing slots, gardening, and being entertained by her many hummingbirds.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nannie and Jim Mangrum; brothers, Wymer and Thurman Mangrum; nephew, Randell Mangrum; and husband, Bobby Lynch.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, W.A. Mangrum; daughters, Jennifer Spelta and Teri Pugh; and her 3 grandchildren Ty, Jordyn, and Calli; nieces, Renee Claiborne, Kathy Griffith, Teresa Blackburn; and great-niece, Susie, along with many close friends and family members will share in her fond remembrance.
A celebration of Geneva's life will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at the Pavilion in Harpeth Hills Funeral Home; the ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Memorial donations on Geneva's behalf, can be made to the Sarah Cannon Fund at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
