JOHNSON, Frances Gamble - Age 84, passed away on January 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sterling and Mattie Mae Mayo Gamble; and her husband of 63 years Wallace Edwin Johnson (Ed). She is survived by her daughter Paulette Coleman (George); grandchildren Christopher Coleman (Brittany) and Ashley Wilson (Matthew). Frances was a devoted homemaker and dedicated her life to the service of others. She was a long time, active member of the River Road Church of Christ and the Bellevue Community. She was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A Life Celebration service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Harpeth Hills Chapel, with Josh Barnett, Mike Baker, and Joe Rushing officiating. A special Celebration of Life will be commemorated by Christopher and Brittany Coleman, and Matthew and Ashley Wilson. Congregational singing will be led by Steve Hawkins. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with Christopher Coleman, Matthew Wilson, Steve Hawkins, Jody George, Chris McBride, Josh Longmire, Charles Drake, and George Walker serving as Active Pallbearers. Jack Stubblefield, Bobby Sexton, James Earley, Jeff Williams, Al Schmid, Charles Willoughby, Frank Mayo, Vaughn Hawkins, Billy Moss, and Members of the River Road Church of Christ will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, and will continue on Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
