Frances Linton

Born in Nolensville, Tennessee on February 17, 1919

Departed on September 10, 2015 and resided in Franklin, Tennessee

Frances Edmondson Linton- Age 96.

Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lloyd Linton. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Little (Ben); grandsons, Andrew Little and Brittain Little (Shelley); great-grandchildren, Tess, Hudson and Ben Little; brother, William Edmondson (Ruth).

She graduated from David Lipscomb University where she met her husband. She was a school teacher and loved teaching for 20 years. She was an excellent and hospitable homemaker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Harrison, Everett Sears, Dr. John Dickson, Don Loftis and men from the South Harpeth Church of Christ.

Active pallbearers will be Andrew Little, Brittain Little, Billy Edmondson, John David Lane, Fulton Greer and Pat Whittemore.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Andy Connelly officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Christian Broadcasting, 605 Bradley Court Franklin, TN 37067.
