Frances Ferebee Moran, age 86, of Nashville, passed away October 31, 2017.
Visitation will be Thursday, Nov 2 from 4 - 7 p.m. and Friday, Nov 3 from 10-11 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Harpeth Hills, with burial to follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
Mrs. Moran was born on October 23, 1931 to the late Nannie Maude and Rufus Bryant Ferebee. She was also preceded in death by her husband: James Everett Moran; her sister: Wilma Wilson; her brother: Bill Ferebee; and special friend: Robert Sanford.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Debra Boles and Parker of Cookeville, Donna Deising and Michie of Nashville and Jim Moran and Amy of Smyrna; grandchildren: Steven Boles and Jessika, Wesley Boles and Chelsea, Megan Houchin and Greg, Ryan Deising, Mary Emma Moran, Jeff Moran and Chad Desing; great-grandchildren: Maddox and Carmen Boles and Carson Deising; sister: Betty Capshaw; sister-in-law: Diane Ferebee; brother-in-law: Charlie Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moran graduated from Bellevue High School and worked at the corporate office of Kuhns Big K, and later in Human Resources at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and being with her family brought her great joy. Her interests included reading, gardening, water exercise and travel.
The family would like to thank the staff at Belmont Village Assisted Living for the care and compassion shown our mother for the past eight years. We would also like to thank CARIS Healthcare for their care in her final days.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
