Fran C. Rogers passed from this life on Monday, July 30, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born June 12, 1935 in Buffalo New York to the Rt. Rev. Albert A. Chambers and Frances D. Chambers. She attended Mount Holyoke College and settled in Nashville in the early 1960's.

Fran began her work with young children in 1957 at the Pine Cobble School; Williamstown, Massachusetts. From 1987 to 2000, Fran was Director of the Westminster Presbyterian Church Inclusive Toddlers and Twos Program. Through her inspired education programs that nourished creativity and a love of learning, Fran touched the lives of countless children and families here in the Nashville area for over 50 years.

She was a proud member of the Nashville Symphony Chorus from 1965 to 2007 and a Member of the Nashville Symphony Association Board Education Committee for over 10 years.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sally Goldberg, she is survived by her husband; Heber C. Rogers, four children; Cameron (Martha) Owen, Amy Owen (Ron) Nieberding, Barry Owen, Elizabeth Street (David) Bromet and ten grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in her memory on August 18, 2 to 4pm at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville TN 37221.
Donations may be made to the Fran and Heber Rogers endowed Scholarship Fund at University School of Nashville, 2000 Edgehill Ave, Nashville, TN 37212.
