Frances L. Walker, age 74, gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born March 17, 1944 in Graysville, TN to the late James and Verna Britt. Frances is also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles "Sonny" Walker.
Frances worked forty years in the textile industry. Her last twenty of those years, she worked in a supervisor position. She loved working in her yard, growing the most beautiful flowers. She was very talented at sewing. Frances enjoyed reading, adult coloring and word search puzzles. Above all, she loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart.
She leaves behind two daughters, Debora (Mark) Mathis and Linda W. (Richard) Llovet; grandson, Jacob Mathis; sister, Aileen Brown; brothers, Levon "Duke" Little, Tommy Edwins and J.C. Britt.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 12-1 p.m. Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A life celebration service will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
