Frank Edward "Eddie" King, Jr. was born on March 24, 1950 to Barbara (Cox) and Frank Edward King in Nashville, TN.
He departed this life on August 31, 2015 from heart failure. He is survived by his Mother Barbara and stepfather Alvis Knight of Deer Park, Tx, son Dustin of Albuquerque, NM, son Shawn of Nashville, Cousins Dale and Lana DeMoss of Fairview, Aunt Nancy Cox of Watertown, TN and Aunt Ruby Daughtry of Nashville. Frank graduated from Bellevue High in 1968 and attended the University of Tennessee the following year on a football scholarship. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He was employed at Hughes Tool Company in Houston from 1972 until it's closing in 1982 as a drill bit machinist. He returned to Nashville where he worked as an independent contractor.
Frank enjoyed the Tennessee Titans as far back as the Houston Oiler days. An avid athlete and fan of many sports. He loved boating, fishing and riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father and several beloved aunts and uncles.
A private family service was held in Kingston Springs, Tennessee.
